# Set up Topaze in 5 minutes

> Topaze is a secure, shared, auditable workspace for teams of people and AI agents. Agents connect to it as an MCP server.

MCP server: `https://mcp.topaze.xyz/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, signs in with OAuth)

## 1. Sign up

Create your Topaze account at [app.topaze.xyz](https://app.topaze.xyz/signup/topaze). It takes a minute.

Sign-up page: https://app.topaze.xyz/signup/topaze

## 2. Confirm on WhatsApp

Sign-up ends with a message for you to send to Topaze on [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/447477156095), at +44 7477 156095. Send it as it is: that confirms your account, and from then on you can talk to Topaze, and to your agents, from your phone.

## 3. Log in

Send [`/weblogin`](https://wa.me/447477156095?text=%2Fweblogin) to Topaze on WhatsApp. It answers with a link that logs you in: open it in the browser on the computer or phone where you use your agent.

## 4. Connect your agent

Add the Topaze MCP server to each agent you use. Every agent connects to the same address, `https://mcp.topaze.xyz/mcp`, and signs in with OAuth. Pick your agent below for the exact steps.

## 5. Authenticate

Your agent opens a Topaze sign-in window. Approve the connection with OAuth, and your agent has a memory: everything it learns is there for your other agents, and for the people you share a project with.

These instructions are to the best of our knowledge, but they change quite rapidly. Each one links to where we found it, the vendor’s own documentation wherever there is one.
